Terms and conditions
Last updated: 17 May 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the Relait platform. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Service owner
Relait is operated by Rent-O Software LLC, registered at 111 NE 1st St, 8th Floor Suite #88886, Miami, Florida 33132, United States.
- Contact email: support@relait.co.uk
- Legal representative: Rent-O Software LLC
2. What Relait is
Relait is a platform for building a trust-based professional profile, collecting reviews from people you have worked with, and sharing a public profile with verifiable information for hiring processes.
3. Registration and account
To use the main features, you must create an account with accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be of legal age or have legal authorization to use the service.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use the platform for unlawful purposes or in breach of these terms.
- Do not publish false, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading content, or content that infringes third-party rights or may misrepresent a person's identity or professional background.
- Do not request or provide reviews in exchange for compensation, and do not manipulate the reputation system.
- Do not attempt to access, alter, or degrade the service infrastructure.
5. User content
You retain ownership of the information you provide. By publishing it, you grant us the license needed to display it on your profile, process it with our AI tools, and share it with the people you choose to give access to. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you publish.
6. CV processing with AI
When you upload a CV to complete your professional profile, the file is processed using artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI solely to extract and structure your experience, education, and skills within the platform.
Relevant details about this processing:
- The CV content is transmitted to the OpenAI API under OpenAI's data processing agreement, which prohibits the use of submitted data to train its models.
- We store the original file and extracted information in our infrastructure to display it on your profile and allow you to update or download it when you choose.
- You can delete your CV and derived data at any time from your account settings, or request deletion by writing to support@relait.co.uk.
- By uploading a CV, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to the information it contains and accept its processing by OpenAI for the purpose described.
If you do not agree with this processing, please do not use the CV upload feature. You can still complete your profile manually.
7. Reviews and reputation
Reviews reflect the personal opinions of the people who provide them. Relait applies measures to detect abusive use, but it does not guarantee that every review is accurate or impartial. You can report content you consider inappropriate through the channels available on the platform.
8. Plans and payments
Some features require a paid plan. Prices, conditions, and payment methods are shown before purchase. Renewals are automatic unless you cancel before the next billing date. Refunds will be handled according to applicable consumer law.
9. Intellectual property
The software, design, brand, and other elements of the platform are owned by Relait or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without express authorization is prohibited.
10. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the service or comply with legal obligations.
11. Suspension and cancellation
We may suspend or cancel your account if you breach these terms or use the platform in a way that may harm other users or the service itself. You may also close your account at any time from settings.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Relait will not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from the use or inability to use the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under the applicable consumer protection regulations.
14. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when necessary. We will notify you of material changes and, if you continue using the service after the notification, the changes will be deemed accepted.
